ASSOCIATION OF BRAZILIAN CULTURES STUTTGART eV
Founding
The Association of Brazilian Cultures Stuttgart (VBKS) was founded in 2006 by Brazilians Jiordano Terra Pasqualini and Mauricio Ferreira da Luz, along with several other friends, including Raj Deshpande and Heike Raatz. Their main goal was to spread Brazilian culture through offerings such as capoeira, forró dance, Portuguese lessons, samba, and more. Since 2006, we have been offering capoeira in Stuttgart under the name " Arte Nacional Capoeira Stuttgart ."
Since 2017, the Forró department and other departments have been spun off into separate associations, allowing us to focus entirely on Capoeira work. The Forró scene is now organized into various associations with which we maintain good relationships: Forró Stuttgart , Forró de Domingo , and Forro Haus Stuttgart .
Since 2022 we have had a Capoeira department in Ravensburg .

The association pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes within the meaning of the section "Tax-privileged purposes" of the German Fiscal Code.
